Mandi Ilene hosted jams at member's homes for a few years, then after everyone had a great time painting, laughing and taking photos, it seemed uneventful that the evening would end and the model would go home to wash off her artwork without being able to show it off. Mandi moved her jams to a local bar and brought in professional photograpy, matched artists and models up together and started putting on a small show for bar's guests. Eventually her dream of bringing the body art to the stage came to fruition when an event center asked her group to entertain guests with body art at a large Halloween Party. The event went over so well, we booked a holiday show and the name BASE was born. 

With twenty five shows over the past 6 years, BASE has blossomed into a true family of models, artists, photographers and more. The artists enjoy the challenge of creating new work for each themed show. Our core group of models have added how much being painted has improved their skills on stage, confidence levels and body acceptance. Without our photographers, we would have no way to preserve the beautiful artwork before it goes, literally, down the drain. The production and entertainment crew help put on the rest of the show, to make magic happen for one amazing night, you won't want to miss!
